I did it by myself! I am a 61yr old widow. The part was perfect, and with the assistance of a you tube video, I was able to get my fan working properly again. I strongly recommend having someone to help get it back up and put back together. You truly need three hands. But if you don’t have a helper… duct tape held it together long enough for me to get the little screws back in place. I am a happy customer, and if my other fan has the same problem, now I know who to contact! Thank you!! 😀😀

A very old ceiling fan had the string blow out. I took it apart to find the switch piece and hit the web. Only Ceilingfansswitch.com told me that the part was no longer made, which one replaced it (with an excellent graphic that shows the differences between related pieces and which I actually needed) and had the part on hand. A quick order, wait for the mail, nice instructions to help out if needed, and I have a fan again. Perfect timing with temps in the 90s today and expected tomorrow. The old house we have has a number of older fans, so I expect I will be back. Many thanks!
