works on all the speeds but the high & medium high are the same speed and the 3rd speed is not the same as the original.
Appears to be working just fine. No fun having a fan that does not work. We are pleasantly surprised that we could order the part needed and did not have to buy a whole new fan!!

The replacement switch works perfectly. Sure beats replacing the fan that is in otherwise perfect condition. Installation instructions were helpful. Be sure to follow them and take a picture with your phone noting the terminal numbers and associated wire colors.
Removed and replaced the fan control switch in less than 10 minutes. Works like new.
