Perfect replacement for my failed 4-way ceiling fan switch.
The switch was delivered with instructions, no problem. I had kept the old broken switch with color-coded wires, so installing the new switch was no problem. Unfortunately, only the light worked while the fan motor would not function…I can only conclude that another electrical component and/or the fan motor itself is shot.
I still have the new switch, if it can be returned or if anyone else can use it. dugovics.d@sbcglobal.net

Never knew what a zing ear was until it broke on our fan. Rather than replace the whole fan, I was able to find the part on ceilingfanswitch.com and it worked perfectly! Had to wait a little bit for shipment, but well worth it!
