This is a 2 setting switch, not a dimmer. 1 setting is full light, 2nd setting is half light. They probably just switch a resistor into the circuit to create the dimming effect. False advertising, not clever.

thank you solving my problem when I emailed you good folks. The 2 switchs fit perfectly in a tight interior brass housing in a 2 lamp floor lamp. The switchs work pefectly for the 2 300 watt heolgan lights. We do not miss the prior dimmer switch the 3 way switch if perfect. Thank you for the rescue and Merry Christmas.

Fast shipping, switch operation and fit work perfectly
Thé switch is fine for its use however is not for my customer. They need a rotary dimmer and this is a two stage. Space is an issue for this job.
