The Zing ZE-208D activates fan speed by gently tugging the attached ball chain. It provides 3-speed settings and will secure in the fan light kit using the attached screw-in nut.

This 3-speed 5-8 wire capacitor fan switch can handle 6A at 125VAC or 3A at 250VAC.

ZE-208D fits many ceiling fans including Harbor Breeze, Hunter, Hampton Bay, Casablanca, Westinghouse, Forever, and others.

    The repair / swap out went smoothly. I hooked the replacement up the same way as the existing was wired . The existing one was broken but had speed control switch at the wall. Therefore don’t know if it ever worked correctly. I had to change the speed control switch to a toggle switch because of adding light kit to fan. I am ok with only two speeds working.

    I could not make this switch work. I connected exactly as the old one was hooked up, same model.
    Ended up putting my old one back on with a new capacitor. Fan works now with old switch. Would not work with new switch.

I am replacing my 3 speed chain pull ceiling fan switch. (It is a Sears Ceiling Fan, No Light ) The problem is I bought 2 switches, one with 4 connections and one with 4 over 4 Connections L-1-2-3. My problem is I have 5 wires Red-1, Brown-2, Grey- 3, Yellow-4, Black-L. I have one wire (Yellow) I'm not sure where it should go.
