This is the newest design of the Zing Ear ZE-235L rocker switch which includes a neon light instead of the old incandescent lamp. Neon lights consume less energy and have a lower operating temperature, therefore, they help extend the lifespan of the rocker switch.
ZE-235L meets electrical standards in North America with UL recognition. It includes 3 prongs (terminals), and the body is made of plastic material.

I give this product the highest marks possible, as all previous switches that I have purchased online and in large hardware stores failed as they failed to function after a few weeks of use. All failed and had to be replaced. They lost the function to turn power on and off. The Zing Ear switch Works and has not failed and the rocker works like it should whereas other switches rockers failed and became limp. The rocker switches were purchased for replacement of worn out switches on a Star electric fireplace heater. GREAT PRODUCT, RECOMMENDED. I always buy more than needed as spares and have since thrown the other previously bought switches in the trash and am keeping the Zing Ear switches as they work! It took a long time to write the review as I wanted to be certain the switches would work, and they did!
Heater with Flame, like a fireplace, now works very well, now that the switch has been replaced @ a very reasonable price & quick shipment. Much better than replacing with a new heater. Thanks!
